About

Hi!  My name is Ruchi Koval.  I'm an Orthodox Jewish woman. Married, 7 kids. Yeah, you heard right.

It pains me that Jews misunderstand each other so badly. The goal of my blog is to unite us with education, respect, and understanding: I want nothing short of global Jewish unity.

Won't you help me by joining in?

  5. I am blown away by your blog, I absolutely love it, can't stop reading. We recently moved to Orange Co NY and I am surrounded by so many Jewish people. (My wonderful OB doctor is Orthodox, and I have been very blessed by his care since I have been here.) As an American Christian (gentile follower of Messiah Jesus) I do not have a very good exposure to the heritage, customs, and celebrations. I am so touched by your transparency, I am now able to live here with a much better knowledge, understanding, and appreciation. As a Christian I study the Torah and the rest of the "old testament" almost daily. I also teach my children the Torah and history of Israel; and we must know our place in it as Gentiles. This has enlightened me on how observant/Orthodox believers live in our current society. Thank you for sharing. Leigh G.
